About Me

I help business owners make thoughtful, ethical marketing decisions, especially in industries where the rules are strict, unclear, or easy to get wrong.

I’m not interested in loud tactics or quick wins. I’m interested in helping people understand what they’re doing, why it works, and whether it’s worth doing at all.

Where this started

Ad Creations Marketing didn’t begin as an agency or a big idea. It started in 2014 as freelance work to make additional money, mostly writing copy for small business owners.

As that work grew, so did my curiosity about how marketing systems operate. I started paying closer attention to algorithms, platform rules, and the ethical lines businesses are asked to walk, especially in industries where advertising restrictions are strict or inconsistently enforced.

I wasn’t interested in finding loopholes. I wanted to understand the rules, how they’re written, and what happens when people ignore them.

In 2023, I decided to make this work my full-time focus.

Why I’m qualified to do this work

I hold a doctorate in Public Policy and Political Economy from the University of Texas at Dallas. That training matters more here than it might seem at first glance.

My background is rooted in reading rules closely, understanding how systems are designed, and interpreting how laws and policies are meant to function in practice, not just on paper. I’m trained to look for second-order effects, unintended consequences, and the real-world impact of decisions made within complex systems.

That lens shapes how I approach marketing.

When I work with business owners, I’m not guessing at what might be allowed. I’m helping them navigate rules, platform policies, and ethical considerations, thoughtfully, so their marketing decisions hold up over time, not just until the next policy update or account shutdown.

How that shows up in my work

I don’t promise fast growth or overnight results. If you’re looking to make a lot of money quickly through loud, aggressive marketing or advertising, I’m not your person.

What I offer is clarity.

I help business owners understand what’s possible, what’s risky, and what aligns with how they want to operate. I explain my thinking, share context, and slow things down when that’s the responsible choice.

Ethical marketing isn’t the absence of ambition. It’s choosing strategies you can stand behind.

Outside of work

Outside of work, I’m a gardener, a writer, and someone who enjoys being outdoors. I love baking and cooking, and moving my body through pilates, weightlifting, and long walks.

I’m in love with my soulmate dogs, Lola and Marvel, and deeply devoted to my three favorite kiddos ever, Kolton, Owen, and Deklan, who keep me grounded in the best ways.

Those things matter to me. They shape how I think about balance, care, and responsibility, and they keep this work rooted in real life.
